My Approach to Teaching
Teaching music is a deeply fulfilling part of my work. I see it as a way to connect, share, and grow alongside each student. I offer lessons in saxophone, composition, and harmony, and in each of these areas, I encourage creativity, improvisation, and movement—making space for every student to find their own voice. Every learner is different, and I enjoy adapting my approach to meet their unique needs. For me, it’s about creating a safe, inspiring space where music becomes a tool for self-expression and discovery.
I teach at my studio in Treehouse Ndsm, in Amsterdam Noord. Whether you're interested in saxophone, composition, or improvisation, you're welcome to join. If you'd like to know more or book a lesson, feel free to get in touch :
Music & Movement for Toddlers (0–3 yrs)
In addition to my teaching practice, I also lead music and movement workshops for toddlers aged 0 to 3. These playful sessions are designed to spark curiosity, support early development, and bring joy through shared musical experiences. Using songs, simple instruments, body movement, and rhythm-based games, we explore sound, coordination, and connection in a safe and nurturing environment. I offer these workshops in collaboration with the organization Walkaplank, where I create interactive sessions that invite both children and caregivers to engage, move, and make music together.
